Moe Laliberte Bio

Moe Laliberte is the retired vice president of lease administration for Dollar General Corporation.

Moe’s career covered nearly 35 years of experience in real estate management, most recently as vice president of lease administration for Dollar General Corporation, where he and his lease administration team had financial oversight of occupancy budgets in excess of $600 million annually for over 11,000 locations. His initiatives resulted in the creation of over $1 billion of shareholder equity through lease re-structuring initiatives, cost reduction programs and solutions-based dispute resolution. He was the company’s key witness in Winn Dixie vs. Dolgencorp, LLC et. al. in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He also has held leadership positions with Chico’s FAS, Inc., Cards of Cape Cod, Office Depot and CVS Corporation. He served in real estate support positions at Harvard University and at Yale University. He began his commercial real estate development career with The Beacon Companies in Boston.

Moe is co-founder and current past-president of the National Retail Tenants Association, where he has developed a large network of landlord, tenant and service providers in the retail real estate management industry. Laliberte earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Husson College in Maine and has completed post-graduate work at Suffolk University in Boston. He is an avid private pilot who divides his time between Cape Cod and South Florida.
