It’s been a rough couple of weeks. The stock market has tanked, a recession looks likely, and the world is in the midst of a pandemic. I am mindful that many philosophers have observed that every crisis has a silver lining. With that in mind, I want to encourage you to not only survive the current crisis but to use it to better your life and increase your chances for future success.
Sales will be lower all around during this economic downturn, but how you conduct business today will help you over the next year, the next five years, and beyond. This is a good time to build trust.
That belief is our overriding attitude for the NRTA membership relationship. We are keenly aware that as many of our members have seen their brick and mortar locations close, they have reestablished themselves as viable working elements within their homes and apartments. Still others have been laid off or furloughed. As difficult as their circumstances may be, they are still contributing and protecting their company’s portfolio investments.
And, as much as ever, many are utilizing our website and online presence to not only stay current but expand their reach as they keep their fingers on the pulse of the multitude of challenges commercial tenants are bearing.

We monitor a wide range of issues including the COVID-19 Stimulus Law, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, and Business Disruption in a Pandemic, to name a few.
