Michael ‘Doc’ Holiday is the principal of Holiday Law Firm P.C. where his practice areas include commercial leasing, commercial real estate development, real estate finance, banking law, corporate law and franchise law. Attorney Holiday has extensive experience as a commercial real estate attorney with a boutique commercial leasing practice involving office, retail, industrial and biotechnology properties, as well as commercial condominiums and franchising, drawing on his prior experiences as an in-house senior real estate attorney for a major national retail chain (The TJX Companies, Inc.), as an in-house title insurance attorney (Lawyers Title Insurance), as a prior Massachusetts real estate broker (E.M. Helides, Jr., Inc.) and as an incorporator of a bank (Taunton Savings Bank), in addition to having been in private practice representing real estate developers, multinational corporations as well as large, medium and small regional and national retailers, and technology companies.
Mr. Holiday is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the National Retail Tenants Association (NRTA), the New England Corporate Counsel Association (NECCA), and the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts (REBA), where he sits on its Commercial Leasing Section, its Condominium Law and Practice Section, and its Commercial Real Estate Finance Section.
Attorney Holiday earned his B.A. degree from Tufts University in Economics, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the New England School of Law. He went on to earn his LL.M. degree (in banking law) from Boston University School of Law, at the Morin Center for Banking Law Studies and holds a Pocket MBA for Lawyers from Boston University School of Management.
