Ingrid Kushinsky is Director of Lease Administration for the Retail Division of Clarks Americas, a privately-held leading British maker of comfort footwear for men, women, and children. Ingrid is responsible for ensuring lease compliance for a portfolio of 260+ retail stores in the United States and Puerto Rico. Her duties include ensuring the fair and equitable negotiation of all leases and leveraging the terms to assure maximum financial results for the company.
Prior to joining Clarks, Ingrid was Manager of Lease Compliance for a publicly-traded REIT, Heritage Property Investment Trust, Inc., based in Boston, Massachusetts, where she oversaw lease management for a portfolio of primarily grocery-anchored shopping centers in excess of 3,000 retail leases. Her responsibilities included devising departmental processes and procedures that were SOX compliant.
Ingrid has over 25 years’ experience in the field of lease administration, lease management, and lease accounting. She has been a member of the NRTA for thirteen years, currently serves on the Board of Governors and Curriculum Committee for the NRTA and holds a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst as well as a post-baccalaureate certificate in Paralegal Studies from Bentley University, Waltham, Massachusetts. She is a lifelong “townie,” residing in Framingham, Massachusetts, with her husband, Jon, and 16-year-old son.
