Donna Wanser, Esq. is the Vice President of Legal for Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. and has been with the company since 2000. Panda Restaurant Group has over 2,000 restaurants throughout the country, and internationally in such places as Guam, Canada, Dubai, Korea, Mexico, etc. Donna oversees a staff of 8 attorneys, 8 paralegals for real estate, due diligence and franchise, a property management team and numerous administrative associates.
Donna is a graduate from the University of Maryland, holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from Dowling College and a Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School and specializes in Real Estate. She was an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University and taught law at the doctorate level. She also holds a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. Her dissertation research involved the study of the emotional intelligence of lawyer leaders and its correlation to effectively leading the new up-coming millennial generation.
Donna has spoken at large conferences on leadership, employment law, real estate law, and personal development. She is certified in and has taught personal development programs around MBTI, DISC, Seven Habits, Corporate Change, and Emotional Intelligence. In addition, she is currently the Co-Chair of the Franchise Committee for the Business Section of the California Bar Association and is on the Board of Grant Angel Wishes and Travel Foundation for the last four years. She had previously been on the Board of Girl Scouts of America, President of her homeowner association and Secretary of the Board for Center for Psychological Services (CPH). She actively engages in helping charity organizations that benefit children and people in need.
Donna’s hobbies include world travel and continuous learning [it’s all about people and culture]. She continues to stay active and has climbed Kilimanjaro, kayaked with the penguins and seals in the Antarctic, and photographed the polar bears in the Arctic. Her most recent trips include holding a koala bear in Australia, mountain biking in the famous redwood forest of Rotorua, and diving with stingrays and reef sharks in Moorea. Recently she biked 125 miles through Croatia/Montenegro/Bosnia and Herzegovina. Where is next?
