C. Gregg Ankenman, Esq. is a Partner with the Oakland, California law firm of Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP. He specializes in real estate law with an emphasis on representing retail tenants. Mr. Ankenman’s practice includes real estate and business transactions, including commercial real estate sales, exchange, financing, asset acquisitions, and lease transactions, including green leasing matters. In 2009, he co-authored a new chapter on green leasing for the Continuing Education of the Bar’s (CEB) publication Office Leasing: Drafting and Negotiating the Lease. He has also authored articles on green building issues for NRTA’s Tenants In-Common and the Bay Area real estate publication The Registry.
Mr. Ankenman is a frequent speaker and panelist for bar associations and industry organizations, including ICSC, NRTA and the CEB. He received his J.D. from Boalt Hall at U.C. Berkeley and graduated magna cum laude in economics from Brigham Young University.
