Focus 08-Solutions for Success is the theme selected for NRTA's 13th Annual Conference, planned for September 14-17, 2008, at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.

For your planning purposes, the NRTA Conference Registration will open on Sunday at 3:00pm with the Trade Show and Reception at 5:00pm.  The Conference will end Wednesday at approximately 12:30pm.

The theme reflects the retail industry's expectation for another year of tight budgets and intense scrutiny on operating expenses and their impact on the bottom line. In light of this challenge, the NRTA Annual Conference is an invaluable opportunity for property and lease management professionals to hone their practical 'how-to' cost recovery skills.

NRTA's Curriculum Committee is expanding the conference's course curriculum to include new topics concerning real estate, lease accounting, auditing, property management, key retail and commercial lease administration issues, and personal development seminars.

NRTA Scholarship Application Now Available
for Children of NRTA Members

The NRTA Annual Scholarship application is now available for Download.  Members should login and click on the "2008 Scholarship Application" link that appears in the Member's Administration box at the top right of the page to obtain a copy.

The NRTA Annual Scholarship Award presents ten (10) $1,000 scholarships to the children of NRTA members who are pursuing higher education at an accredited college, university, or trade/vocational school.  NRTA members must be in good standing at the time of submission.

All application reviews and the selection of scholarship winners are done by an independent vendor, College Counseling Services.  Scholarship winners will be announced by August 8, 2008 and the list of winners will be posted on this website. 

The scholarship is limited to the children of NRTA members only.  If you are not a member but are interested in becoming one, please go to the Membership Renew/Join page for information and a membership application.
